Murray will be leading a pruning day at the Lincoln Hazel collection. (Weather dependant pruning in the rain can
be dangerous). 1 0:00am start at Lincoln University. He will need to borrow equipment so any and all helpers will
be welcomed. Equipment needed includes: chainsaws, lopers, helmets.
Directions: Enter Lincoln University off Ellesmere Junction Road through Gate 2 in to Calder Drive.Turn right in to
Farm Road at the first intersection. Continue to the end of Farm Road and turn left (opposite the entrance to the BHU)
The hazel orchard is in the first gate on the right.
